Artist statement - The Seas of Limbo
Neither fish nor fowl and yet somehow both.
The Seas of Limbo sound foreboding but may be viewed as simultaneously hopeful. Perhaps there is a certain boldness to embracing uncertainty.
Bobbing about on an in-between ocean might beckon all manner of possibility: brightly patterned visions buoyed along on strange tides.
Images that combine human, animal and plant characteristics blur identities, introducing the potential for profound interconnections.
