The Gallery
Hill Smith Gallery endeavours to assist both new and experienced collectors of Australian artworks with a range of services that assist and enhance their decisions to purchase specific pieces.
Valuations
Valuations can be arranged for individual and corporate purposes (eg insurance) by appointment with the gallery Director.
Consignment
By arrangement, the gallery offers works for sale from private and corporate collections, where assessed as in keeping assessed with the style and quality of the gallery’s client market. Whilst
in the Gallery, all works are covered by Gallery insurance policy.
Restoration & Conservation Advice
The preservation and where necessary restoration of your valuable works is an important issue for any collector. We aim to provide sound advice as well as supervision and co-ordination of any work
requiring attention.
Packaging and Freight
Packing and delivery arrangements can be made on your behalf for works to be delivered intra and interstate as well as internationally by the Gallery.
Framing
Framing advice and supervision of framing works by independent experts can be undertaken by special arrangement.
