In an online review of Art Basel by Chloe Walifson for Visual Arts Hub, Art Central Hong Kong was praised, and HSG mentioned as a participant alongside other Australian Galleries.
"Just around the corner at Central Harbourfront, the satellite fair Art Central also had a strong Australian contingent, including .M Contemporary, Chalk Horse, Conny Dietzhold and Dominik Mersch from Sydney along with Hill Smith from Adelaide and Metro Gallery from Melbourne. Locust Jones, represented by Mersch, was also showing a large-scale work on paper in the Projects section of the fair.
Sydney’s own 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art captured the relatively relaxed spirit of Art Central with their public program ROUNDTABLE X 4A, which invited visitors to join 4A curators and staff in a casual seated setting for discussions and artist performances. With 30,000 visitors viewing the 100 galleries’ booths over the course of the fair, Art Central certainly held its own in the face of its intimidating neighbour." Chloe Walifson, March 2016
