Conceived in Paris in 1993 by Hans Ulrich Obrist and artists Christian Boltanski and Bertrand Lavier, do it has become the longest-running and most far-reaching exhibition ever to have happened – constantly evolving and generating new versions of itself.
do it has toured to venues from New York to Manchester, Budapest to Salt Lake City, Kosovo to Moscow, and now in 2015 to Adelaide. do it (adelaide) is only the second time an Australian gallery has been invited to host a do it exhibition.

Congratulations to Adriane Strampp announced as a finalist in ther 2016 John Leslie Art Prize, one of Australia's most prestigious and valuable prizes for landscape painting at the Gippsland Art Gallery.
Adriane was selected as a finalist for her work 'Gauze', 2016, oil on linen 122 x 122 cm.
The winner will be announced at the official launch on Friday 2 September, together with the winner of the ‘Best Gippsland Work’ ($1,000 non-acquisitive). This year’s judging panel includes Melinda Martin, Director, Linden New Art, Melbourne; Marielle Soni, Director, Alcaston Gallery, Melbourne; and Shannon Smiley, Artist, winner John Leslie Art Prize 2014.
